Oh and by the way, the tool is back up and happily fetching data again (as of, 4:54PM ET) Just because it was approved for use does not means it has no impact on the game (traffic and load), the game balance (people using this tool have an edge on those who don't) and so on…. For example, on my account, I have the cities of all the top 5 players on every server (needed for research and game strategy :-D ) The City Planner tool allows you to bypass that limitation and look up (and import data) from any player and city on every single world in the game, essentially getting around limitations that were set by the game developers. So, to see the cities of all the players on the US server alone, you would have to start 27 games/cities. To "see the cities" on the other worlds, you must start a new game/city on those worlds (Brisgard-US2, Cirgard-US3, etc.). If you are on the US server, World Arvahall(US1), you can only see the cities on Arvahall. With an in-game account, you can only see the cities on the worlds you are playing. To illustrate, you can get on the tool, create an account (you don’t even have to be a FOE player) and start looking up other player’s info ( that include their city layouts, stats and so on).Ĭontrary to what people are saying, in the game, you cannot "just see the cities of other players". It does not necessarily access the data of the person using the tool, but it reads and copy the data of every player that the person is looking up / querying. I can't speak to code access, but it does access players game data.
